A group of young men are facing serious consequences after they were caught early Sunday morning breaking in to an East Auckland High School.

After forcing their way into the school and activating the alarm system, the group of 3 teenagers were found by the Matrix Security Patrol Officer who responded to the activations along with a school staff member.

They quickly fled and were pursued out of the school where the police, with the help of the eagle helicopter, picked up the trail resulting in multiple arrests and the recovery of 2 stolen cars.

There was no damage to the building or items taken thanks to the rapid response of all involved.
